A Costa Rican company that learned the trade by keeping real operations running.
Servitec GyG brings together IT infrastructure and services, electronic security, and web solutions under one technical team. This is the track record behind that judgment and the way we work.
Track record
More than two decades of technical craft.
Servitec GyG has been operating as a company for 16 years. In that time, the work grew from fixing equipment to supporting entire platforms: servers, network, telephony, video surveillance, access control, and the web platforms that depend on all of the above.
Behind it are more than 21 years of the founding engineer's technical experience, built across networks, servers, systems, communications, and security, which today guides the company's technical judgment.
That accumulated experience shows up in recognizing problems that repeat: capacity that stops being enough, backups that never get verified, and networks that end up supporting more operation than they were built for.
Purpose and aspiration
To understand the operation first, in order to design, implement, and support IT, infrastructure, and electronic security solutions that keep technology reliable, integrated, and aligned with business needs.
Technology comes after understanding what the operation needs to sustain.
To be a reference company in Costa Rica for organizations that need to solve complex technical problems with judgment, integration, and responsibility.
We want to be recognized for understanding the operation before proposing technology, and for responding with solutions that can be sustained over time.
What sets us apart
What you get when you work with us.
Technology is chosen last
Scope gets defined after understanding the operation: first what needs solving is prioritized, then what technology is actually needed is determined. The order is set by the operation's real risk, not by a product catalog.
Three layers, one technical coordination
Servers, electronic security, and web platforms coexist on the same operation. Handling them from a single technical standard makes it easier to understand where a problem originates and how it affects the other layers. That's why all three areas are designed and supported under one technical accountability.
Own repair shop and direct follow-up
We have our own repair shop and parts available, with the option to pick up and reconnect equipment at the client's facilities when the service requires it. That keeps the support path clear and lets us follow up on every case directly.
A Costa Rican company with nationwide coverage
Local presence, coverage across the country, an accessible repair shop, and a same-business-day first commercial response for requests received within business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Coverage and repair shop
Based in San José, with service coverage across all of Costa Rica; remote services are provided with no geographic restriction.
Own repair shop with parts available, plus equipment pickup and reconnection at the client's facilities when the service requires it.
Technologies and reference frameworks
We work with technologies from manufacturers such as Hikvision, Dahua, MikroTik, Cisco, Microsoft, Kantech, Fortinet, and Ubiquiti, selected according to each project's needs — across the three core areas: video surveillance, networking, and systems.
For information management we work following ISO 27001 and NIST guidelines as reference frameworks.

Let's talk about what the operation needs to solve and define the next step.
